We have Co-Church School Superintendents
Charlie Filkins Charlie's relationship with the First Congregational Church began with his wedding in 1987. He became a member in 1998, shortly after the birth of his second son. He began helping in the Church School in 2001 as a member of the Board of Christian Education, and for the last two years has assisted in the Church School office on a full time basis. Outside of church, Charlie has been an assistant den leader in Highland Elementary School's Cub Scout Pack since 2000. Charlie looks forward to continuing his contribution to the Church School.
Pam Perkowski Pam Perkowski grew up in Wallingford and has been a member of First Congregational Church most of her life. She has been a youth group leader throughout the years since 1985, a girl scout leader of two troops since 1996 and enjoys working with children of all ages. Pam resides in Wallingford with her husband, Steve, and their two teenage daughters. A strong believer that our children are the future, she is very excited to see the church school students and youth group members enjoying our church's programs and feeling comfortable with their church family. Running a very active family through their weekly schedule, Pam looks forward to the Sunday morning re-charge and sense of peace that church gives her. Please celebrate their commitment to the Youth of our Church.
