Jeanette Gross holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Connecticut College, and a Master of Arts degree in musicology from Syracuse University where she studied organ with Arthur Poister and David Johnson. In 1998 she received a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the Hartt School of Music, University of Hartford, where she studied organ with John Holtz and Larry Allen.
Dr. Gross has held many church positions throughout Connecticut, and is currently Minister of Music at the First Congregational Church in Wallingford. She is the organist for all church services and the director of adult and all youth choirs.
Dr. Gross also holds a BSN in nursing. She earned academic distinction as a University Scholar in Nursing Studies from the University of Hartford where she wrote her senior thesis on the use of music to alleviate pain. She is currently Outreach Nurse at the Friendship Center in New Britain.
