♫♫ MUSICAL MOMENTS ♫♫

You undoubtedly have noticed the addition of a gathering song at the beginning of the worship service. It’s purpose is to get us singing together in a freer, contemporary style. Many of these songs are sung at the mission trip work camps. The plan is to repeat 5-6 songs so we may get to know them well. I am seeking guitarists , percussionists, and keyboardist to help with this endeavor. Please contact Jeanette at 860-803-8745 if you would be willing to help out.

Epiphany Musical presented by the Youth Choirs
“The Lost Boy”
February 11 - 7:00 p.m. and February 12 - 10:00 a.m.
by Allen Pote, text by Tom S. Long
The Lost Boy tells the story of Luke 2:39-52. Mary and Joseph lose track of twelve year old Jesus for three days and when they finally find him, he is sitting in his "father's house" - demonstrating with his questions a great understanding of God. Within the musical is a reassuringly human message: even parents chosen by God can lose a child; even a perfect child can give his parents anxiety. The message is sure to comfort anyone who has ever been a parent, a child, or even those who have misplaced Jesus for a while. Saturday rehearsals start January 7 (9-10:30 a.m.) as well the usual Monday evening
rehearsal (4:15-5:15 p.m.). Additional rehearsals: January 16, 2-4:40 p.m. Dress rehearsal is planned for February 11 4-6:30 p.m. Any student not already in choir who wishes to participate please email Jeanette at jet50g@aol.com or call her: (860)803-8745.
