SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE
Palm Sunday Scholarship Envelope Campaign
The Scholarship Committee will be inviting your participation in the annual Scholarship
Envelope Campaign in April, 2012. The Scholarship Fund enables our congregation to award
grants to our youth and adults who are continuing their higher education. This year, there are many
high school seniors in our church. A letter and envelope from the Scholarship Committee will be sent
out in early April, 2012. Please watch for that special mailing . We hope that you will add your donation to
the envelope and bring it with you on Palm Sunday. This is our main fund raising event each year.
Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
Scholarship Applications will be available
March 1, 2012 in the church office. Applicants must be
active members of the First Congregational Church of Wallingford and planning to attend an accredited
two or four year college or technical school. All Scholarship applications should be returned back to the
church office by the deadline, May 1, 2012.
