and bring first fruits of the harvest to God.
Luke 4: 1-13 – Most of us will wander in the wilderness.
Will we give up on God or discover God’s strength?

February 28, 2010 – The Second Sunday in Lent
Sermon: “There is Promise and Challenge in Following God’s Ways”
Genesis 15: 1-12, 17-18 – God promises to guide and protect Abram.
Luke 13: 31-35 – In spite of the danger, Jesus will not
abandon his ministry.

March 7, 2010 – The Third Sunday in Lent
Sermon: “Open Invitation”
Isaiah 55: 1-9 – Isaiah offers the hope of a journey home for the exiles in Babylon.
Luke 13: 1-9 – God’s character resembles the patient attitude of a gardener.
